I had massive fun working on this tiger model and texturing in Substance Painter. Fortunately my husband is a 3D artist, and helped me UV-unwrap the model. (check Ilya Smirnov's portfolio out)
I think I kind of like modelling, but I'm more drawn to texturing. Painting in 3D just opens up so many more possibilities compared to 2D. Balancing creative work after regular hours can be a challenge, but I'm committed to squeezing half an hour every day to learn the software. Hoping this effort pays off soon-ish, making modelling quicker and texturing even more enjoyable.
