Graphic Designer and Illustrator

I worked with Verve Properties to help with the marketing campaign of their launch event for The Market Building.

The Market Building is a redevelopment of a 1950s London block in Brentford which was turned into stylish and affordable housing. I was part of the design team to create their website, branding and illustrations.

BROCHURE, PRESS ADVERTS AND HOARDING DESIGN

Property marketing can be dull and tedious so it is important to make the brand more interesting and appealing to customers. The brochure contains a 1950s retro design style but in a cool and edgy way to make the marketing campaign stand out more.

This project had everything I liked, icon design, brochure layouts, map making, illustration and logo generation. Also the brand assets were rolled out to interactive maps, the website and various forms of adverisements which added more fun to this development project.

The image shows an interactive local map of Brentford on iPad that we built using a WordPress plug in called mapplic.

The floorplan page also was made interactive to display the information of individual flats and to show whether they are sold or under offer.

Visitors to the website had a positive end user experience. The online ‘launch’ and ‘launch day’ was a great success with most properties sold immediately.

THE WEBSITE

A 1950s advertising style was chosen for the Market Building. I did some extensive research online and explored Themeforest to find a theme that would fit the project brief and be easily customisable for the retro style.
