Graphic Designer and Illustrator

Ok Please by Dabbawal is set within an exciting new independent F&B container community set beneath the iconic Tyne bridge, bringing to life the evocative flavours from the street food makers in the bazaars of India.

On this project I have worked on the identity generation and branding including logo, the menu and menu board, chutney labels, stickers, greaseproof paper and finally the graphic for inside and outside of the container which was all hand painted by Ashley Willerton, a sign writer and designer based in Newcastle. The branding of the OK Please container was to have a cool and industrial vibe that reflects the Indian bazaar spirit.

I have given different type treatments to each product name and created illustrations thereby giving a unique look to every chutney label, but still making them to look consistent within the brand.

It was such a pleasing experience to work on this brand. The food is loved by the locals and maybe you should give a visit to the venue under the Tyne Bridge when you happen to be in Newcastle!
